Applications have now closed
We are seeking expressions of interest from production teams who would like to produce one of the following pantomimes:
- Peter Pan
- Jack and the Beanstalk
- Cinderella
- Aladdin
In celebration of our 40th anniversary we’re going "old-school" and putting on a traditional panto, which means everything’s bigger! Big laughs, big comedy and a live band!
As a change from previous years, we are no longer asking prospective production teams to supply a show-ready script and comprehensive list of production personnel. Instead, the list of shows to choose is fixed, and you will be able to adapt an existing script into a show as part of a collaborative process with ACT production personnel.
This change does not remove creative control from the production team – it is purely to reduce the burden of choosing a show and creating a proposal, and we hope this new process will encourage more people to consider this opportunity.
Applications are open to anyone aged 18 or over. The closing date for applications is Friday, 14th October 2011. Applications can be e-mailed to committee@altonacitytheatre.com.au – please include the show you’d like to produce (from the list), brief bios for the Director, Musical Director & Choreographer (if applicable), and an outline of your vision for the show.
