Aladdin (the Rock Panto) is set against the backdrop of Peking. The country and the Kingdom is broke – all they can do is sell sand! The evil Abanazar has discovered the secret of a magic lamp and wants to rule the world with its power. Meanwhile, the Grand Vizier has plans to marry her son Pekoe to the Princess, so she can gain power over the Kingdom. But Pekoe has other interests... namely himself.
When Aladdin sees the Princess for the first time he falls in love and vows to win her affections. A long lost uncle appears and tells Aladdin that if he finds a valuable lamp he will be granted everything he wants!
Will Aladdin win the Princess's heart? Will the Genie side with Aladdin or the evil Abanazar? Will Pekoe love anyone but himself? Will the servants get a break?
