Sinbad opening weekend has now been and gone. The weekend surpassed expectations by beating the attendance rate set last year by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Our mattinee audiences in particular were in for a major treat when our cast joined them in the foyer after the show in full costume to pose for photos and interact with the kids. Blake Testro as the Pirate King managed to frighten more children than he entertained, but it was all in the spirit of fun.
The Saturday mattinee was also our AUSLAN interpreted show for the hearing impaired. Attendance for this performance was up on last year, indicating increased interest in interpreted performances.
Work now turns toward the remaining three weekends worth of performances. Ticket sales are steady, but could be better. Tell your friends, and tell your family – this is one show you wont want to miss!
