From the moment Ugly is born it is crystal clear that he is no ordinary duck. He looks quite a bit different from his ducking brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and mock and tease him.
Ugly finds himself lost on a nearby marsh and he must embark on an adventure of self discovery through the countryside, meeting a whole flock of colourful characters and learns that being different is not necessarily a bad thing to be.
