Based on the iconic 1980 film, 9 to 5: The Musical, with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton, is a hilarious and empowering story set in the late 1970s.
It follows three unlikely friends – Violet, Doralee, and Judy – who are pushed to the edge by their sexist, egotistical boss, Franklin Hart. Fed up with his lies and hypocrisy, the women devise a bold plan to take control of the office. As they turn their fantasies into reality, they transform their toxic workplace into a model of equality and respect.
Filled with catchy tunes, sharp wit, and heartfelt moments, 9 to 5 is a celebration of friendship, justice, and the power of women taking charge.
