“Old Father Time and the Magic Pendulum”, is a story set in Everland, in the town of Time which is where the World Clock is kept. The World Clock is the clock from which all time is based… if the world clock was ever to stop, all time in the world would stop. And the Magic Pendulum is what keeps time in the World Clock. But old and grumpy Old Father Time steals the Magic Pendulum a couple days before New Years Eve, thus freezing time and preventing him being reborn as Baby New Year and having to go through the tedious process of growing up all over again next year. It is up to the heroes of the story, Dr Timepiece, Mrs. Hickory and Admiral Dogwatch to retrieve the Magic Pendulum and save the day.  Will they succeed in retrieving the magic pendulum, or will they run out of time forever?

Audition Dates:

Monday 13^th December 7.00pm – 10.00pm
Sunday 19^th December 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Monday 20^th December 7.00pm – 10.00pm

Auditions will be held at the Hobsons Bay Community Workshop facility 280 Queen Street, Altona (previously: EPA vehicle testing site, opposite Kooringal Golf Course)

Rehearsals will commence Sunday 9^th January 2011.  Rehearsals will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights (7.00pm – 10.00pm) and on Sunday afternoons (12.00pm – 5.00pm).  The rehearsal days are different to previous years due to a cross over in rehearsal time with the panto and our February production of “Avenue Q”.  Rehearsals will be held at Altona Theatre (115 Civic Parade, next to the Altona Civic Centre)

Performances will be on the weekends from March 18 – April 9 at Altona Theatre
