Altona City Theatre brings the smash-hit Disney Channel movie - which sold 1.2 million copies in six days, spawned three sequels, won two Emmy's and a Billboard Music Award - to the stage with Disney's High School Musical - On Stage!
Follow the tale of Troy and Gabriella, two high school students from rival cliques who try out for lead parts in their high school musical, and as a result divide the school. Can Troy fulfil his stage potential without letting down the basketball team? Will the diva Sharpay sabotage Troy and Gabriella's friendship to take the lead role for herself? Will the other students thwart their dreams? Join us as Troy and Gabriella try to resist peer pressure and rivalry, and inspire others along the way not to "stick to the status quo".
